WATERVLIET, N.Y. (WNYT)- Watervliet police said two city residents were arrested after investigators said a dispute turned into a forced entry, assault and knife threat.
Officers were sent Tuesday, Sept. 8, at about 6:30 p.m. near 3rd Avenue for a reported disturbance, according to a Watervliet Police Department release. Police said officers interviewed everyone at the scene during the burglary and assault investigation.
Police said witnesses told officers the victim got into a verbal fight with Serenity L. Miller, 27, and Kenneth W. Heintz, 29, before it became physical. Investigators said Miller and Heintz forced their way into the front of the home where the victim was staying…
