Detectives investigate reported stabbing in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — An investigation is underway after a reported stabbing in Albany on Tuesday night. According to the Albany Police Department, officers responded to the area of Ontario Street and First Street at about 6:25 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.

When officers arrived on scene, staff from Albany Medical Center Hospital notified police that a male had entered the emergency room with a stab wound.

Albany Police say the 32-year-old man had stab wounds to his back and bicep. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
