More than 100 grams of cocaine seized during traffic stop

Rotterdam, NY (WRGB) — A traffic stop on the New York State Thruway near Exit 25 led to the arrest of a Schenectady man accused of possessing more than 100 grams of suspected cocaine and trying to hide it from troopers.

On September 3, 2026, members of State Police Troop T, SP Albany and the Troop G Community Stabilization Unit arrested 39-year-old Peter Moore of Schenectady. He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and tampering with physical evidence.
