COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Nearly 50 years after people in one Colonie neighborhood discovered a dark truth about the place they blissfully called home, family members still have questions about what exactly happened.

“This is where we grew up,” said Lori Young. “It’s wonderful to be back, it really is.”
57-year-old Lori Young and her father 79-year-old George Smith called 52 Yardboro Ave home for all of Lori’s childhood. George raised a family of five alongside his wife Kathleen.
“I always say our backyard was like the neighborhood playground,” said Young. “We were outside all the time. We spent every day outside on our bikes, digging in the dirt, playing in the backyard.”…
