TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Troy city officials confirmed that a teen was injured in an e-bike-involved crash on Thursday night. The incident took place just before 7 p.m. near Fourth Street and Monroe Street.

Troy officials stated that a 16-year-old riding an e-bike collided with a car in the vicinity. The minor was reportedly taken to a local hospital to be treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The car’s driver stayed on the scene and has remained cooperative with law enforcement. Troy Police will be in the area on Thursday night as the crash investigation remains ongoing.
