Legacy BBQ features recipes passed down from Wilson’s mother and mother-in-law. The menu will feature authentic slow-cooked barbecue, including smoked brisket, pork spare ribs, chicken wings and smoked sausage, as well as baked beans, potato salad, banana pudding and pineapple cake.

“For our family, this is about legacy,” said Wilson. “My mother taught us how to cook, my father loved baseball, and my wife, daughter, brothers, sisters and family have always done this together. We are excited to bring real South Carolina barbecue to Albany and welcome people from across New York and the country.”
