COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10)– A national chain store that specializes in a changing inventory of clothing, accessories, jewelry, beauty items and more will soon be opening its first Capital Region location. Uncharted is set to open in the Northway Shopping Center in Colonie on Oct. 17.

In 2024, the popular boutique launched in Illinois by the owners of The Paper Store and quickly expanded. The visionary behind the store and the Chief Merchandising Officer of the company, Meg Anderson Lavoie said, Uncharted focuses on connection and discovery.
“Our stores have always felt like an extension our home,” she said. “Uncharted is us asking what that feeling looks like today: familiar and a bit unexpected. We’re not just curating products, we’re curating a feeling.”
According to Lavoie, Uncharted brings in a variety of brands and gifts for every occasion, with a constantly changing assortment. From a combination of their own products to products from popular brands like Birkenstock, Free People, Needoh and Kendra Scott, shoppers can discover what’s trending in every shopping category, without needing to feel like they have to shop online…
