ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A 31-year-old Albany man has been charged with assault after being identified as the suspect in a series of video circulating online. Devin Brewington was arrested by the Albany Police Department on Friday.

The investigation started on Saturday, after Albany police became aware of video circulating online that showed an individual assaulting multiple victims in different incidents. Detectives were able to identify Brewington as the suspect in the videos.
Police also determined that on February 2, in the area of South Pearl Street and Hudson Avenue, Brewington threw a man victim to the ground before punching and kicking him.
Additionally, the investigation also determined on April 9, in the area of South Pearl Street and Westerlo Street, Brewington struck the same victim in the face and head multiple times.

After identifying the 47-year-old victim, Brewington was arrested on Friday at about 12:30 p.m. while at Albany Medical Center. He was being held at the hospital under the mental hygiene law to be evaluated…
