Albany, NY (WRGB) — A traffic stop in Albany led to the arrest of a 26-year-old man after investigators said they found a loaded handgun inside his vehicle.
Albany County Sheriff Craig D. Apple Sr. reported that members of the Albany County Sheriff’s Community Oriented Policing Effort (SCOPE) Unit stopped a vehicle at about 8:42 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, in the area of Clinton Avenue and North Manning Boulevard in Albany for a traffic violation.
