Troy, NY – A jail intelligence investigation in Rensselaer County has led to the seizure of more than 50 grams of suspected illegal drugs and eight sheets of paper that tested positive for fentanyl, raising concerns about contraband inside the county’s correctional facility.
According to the Rensselaer County Sheriff‘s Office, investigators arrested Marcos Delgado, 23, on Thursday, Oct. 8, following an investigation conducted by the department’s Jail Intelligence Unit. The sheriff’s office announced the arrest Tuesday, Oct. 13.
