Eddie F’s New England Seafood has closed its Clifton Park location at 1742 Route 9. In a post on its Facebook page, the restaurant said that starting Monday, Nov. 2, the Clifton Park Eddie F’s “will no longer be open due to the sale of the property.”
The Route 9 shop had a short, busy life. Owner Ed Fazzone opened the second Eddie F’s New England Seafood there on Feb. 1st, 2023, taking over the former Harbor House Fish Fry. It was bigger and more conventional than his original 2016 Saratoga Springs spot, the pink store on Clinton Street.
On Dec. 8, 2025, Clifton Park rebranded as a joint venture, Eddie & Mario’s New England Seafood and Pizzeria, with Mario Cardenas of West Ave Pizza and West Ave Chicken in Saratoga Springs, putting seafood and pizza under one roof. By August 2026 the partnership had split back into separate concepts, and 1742 Route 9 was Eddie F’s New England Seafood again…
