CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — On Wednesday afternoon, the Clifton Park Volunteer Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9. Responding crews observed diesel fuel leaking from a saddle tank on a truck involved in the crash.

Investigations determined that a car struck the side of the truck, resulting in the tank splitting. Crews contacted the Department of Environmental Conservation and worked to prevent the fuel from flowing into the creek.
