Albany, NY (WRGB) – Prosecutors say an Albany man made incriminating remarks while in a holding cell, after being arrested for the murder of his roommate. Ashley Heshmat, 44, made his first court appearance Wednesday before Albany County Judge William Little. Heshmat shared a home on Rose Court in Albany with 48-year-old Justin Bishop. Bishop was found dead during a welfare check on January 14th, with “multiple lacerations to his head and neck area.”
