Loudonville man jailed for unlawful surveillance

WARRENSBURG, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — A Loudonville man was sentenced to six months in jail, followed by five years of probation, after taking a picture of a young woman showering at Warrensburg Travel Park and Riverfront Campground in August 2022. According to the Director of Public Affairs for Warren County, Mark Siciliano was convicted of multiple counts of second-degree unlawful surveillance.

Authorities say trial evidence showed Siciliano was found by the victim’s boyfriend taking pictures of her, who quickly confronted him and forced him to delete the image. Siciliano was found and arrested by the New York State Police shortly after the incident.

Siciliano will be required to register as a sex offender.

“The victim’s strength and resolve in this case has helped to hold this defendant accountable for his egregious violation of her privacy,” said District Attorney Jason Carusone. “The Court’s sentence provides long-lasting protections to the community through incarceration, supervision, and registration.”
