RCSO: Two arrested for illegal firearm possession

RENSSELAER, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Two people have been arrested as part of a gun-involved violence elimination detail (GIVE). Qon Pringle (26, Brunswick) and Khadajah Gross (31, Charlotte, North Carolina) each face charges.

The Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office says the two were found to possess an illegal firearm. Deputies say Pringle was on parole at the time of his arrest with four prior felony convictions, two of which being weapon possession charges. The sheriff’s office was working in tandem with the New York State Parole and Troy Police Department.

Pringle Charges:

  • Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon
  • Criminal possession of a firearm

Gross Charges:

  • Criminal possession of a firearm

Shooting investigation leads to 3 arrests in Watervliet

Both were arraigned in Brunswick Town Court. Pringle was remanded without bail to the Rensselaer County Jail, and Gross was held on a $15,000 cash bond.
