Stillwater man arrested after forced entry into residence in Halfmoon

HALFMOON, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Audin E. Jenkins, 25, of Stillwater, was arrested following an investigation into a disturbance at a residence in Halfmoon on Thursday night. State Police arrested Jenkins for burglary in the first degree, criminal contempt in the first degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to police, Jenkins forced his way into a residence, damaged property, and physically harmed an adult. A child was present during the incident.

Both the victim and the child had a full stay-away order of protection. Jenkins reportedly fled the scene but was located with assistance from the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. He was processed at SP Clifton Park and arraigned at the Malta Town Court.

Jenkins was remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash, $5,000 bond, or a $10,000 partially secured bond.
