AMC scientists will analyze blood samples of long COVID patients and work to find the identifiers within the blood that point to long COVID. They are seeking a blood test that could identify those most vulnerable to COVID, lingering symptoms, and severe disease forms.

Beyond general symptoms like fatigue and fever, the CDC said that long COVID can include respiratory, neurological, and digestive symptoms. Anyone experiencing lingering symptoms of COVID can find suggestions from the CDC to talk about it with a healthcare provider.
