3 arrested after drug, firearm investigation in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Three people were arrested after a search warrant was executed at a Lexington Avenue residence as part of an ongoing investigation. Jovonte Heard (23, Green Island), Keshawn Simmons (26, Bronx), and Tyquan Lowrie (30, Bronx) each face several charges.

On Tuesday, around 10:20 a.m., police conducted a search warrant at a Lexington Avenue residence due to an ongoing investigation. Police say three people fled on foot once they arrived, and were quickly taken into custody.

Police say they found a loaded handgun and several drugs, including crack cocaine, powder cocaine, fentanyl, and MDMA. Heard, Simmons, and Lowrie were subsequently arrested.
