AMSTERDAM, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The Amsterdam Police Department announced they are searching for a missing vulnerable adult with autism. Derick Muir, 18, was last seen on Kimball Street in Amsterdam at 7:30 a.m. on February 2.

Muir is described as being around 196 pounds and 5’8″ tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last known to be wearing a black leather Chicago Bears jacket, a black flannel shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
Police say Muir is believed to be endangered and in need of medical attention. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Amsterdam Police Department at (518)842-1100 .
