Albany bridal store paying it forward after large donation

ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) – In May, the Second Chance Thrift Store received their first donation of wedding gowns after an area business closed its doors. The donation allowed the shop to open its own bridal store featured in our Off the Beaten Path series. Only six months later, they received a second donation of brand new wedding gowns.

The Bridal Boutique is paying it forward this February, a.k.a the ‘month of love,’ by running a bridal special. Wedding gowns will be available for $100 and they also have prom dress specials, for prices as low as $25 dollars.

Off the Beaten Path: Second Chance Thrift Shop opens bridal boutique

Proceeds from the thrift store and the Bridal Boutique benefit the American Italian Heritage Museum located behind the store. The boutique operates by appointment only. To make an appointment, call 518-917-2494.
