ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Average gasoline prices in Albany have risen 5.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.24/g Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 546 stations in Albany. Prices in Albany haven’t changed versus a month ago and stand 35.5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average diesel price has risen 3.0 cents in the last week and is $3.92 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Albany was priced at $2.97/g Sunday, while the most expensive was $3.69/g, a difference of 72.0 cents per gallon. The lowest price in the state Sunday was $2.62/g while the highest was $4.19/g, a difference of $1.57/g.
The national average price of gasoline has risen 4.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.12/g Monday. The national average is up 4.0 cents per gallon from a month ago. It stands 32.5 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
