Hannaford donated $50,000 to Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless (IPH) based in Albany and $20,000 to Hudson River Housing in Poughkeepsie. IPH will use the donation to support Community Connections, the organization’s largest program which benefits about 1,600 people, and its Code Blue shelters in Gloversville and Albany.

Community Connections has a daytime warming shelter in Albany, giving visitors access to food, clothes, laundry, showers, lockers, mailboxes, and case management. IPH will also assist Code Blue in its emergency measures to ensure homeless people have access to shelter from the extreme cold.
