Two arrested in connection to Sand Lake assault

SAND LAKE, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Two men were arrested following an investigation into an assault in Sand Lake, according to state police. Evan Hendricks, 30, of Rensselaer, and Clint Clark, 31, of Cohoes, are both facing charges.

On January 21 at 5 p.m., police responded to a home on State Route 43 in Sand Lake for a report of an unresponsive man with injuries. The investigation determined that Hendricks and Clark reportedly traveled to the home uninvited, leading to a dispute with the victim.

During the altercation, Hendricks and Clark allegedly struck the person several times, resulting in injuries and the victim falling unconscious. Police say the pair then fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Albany man arrested on felony drug possession charges

Officers later identified Hendricks and Clark as the suspects and they were taken into custody. The victim was transported to Albany Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the suspects and the victim are all known to each other.
