CAPITAL REGION, NY (WRGB) – An Albany man and a Hudson woman each face multiple charges, after allegedly selling a counterfeit electronic device over Facebook Marketplace. At about 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 7, Troopers received a complaint from a Saratoga County, NY resident. The investigation determined Joshua D. Campbell, 24, of Albany, and Danielle J. Ellis, 23, of Hudson reportedly worked together to sell the victim a counterfeit electronic device via Facebook Marketplace in Albany, NY. The item was reportedly advertised, packaged, and sold using a counterfeit Apple trademark.
