ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Average gasoline prices in Albany have risen 1.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.25/g Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 546 stations in Albany. Prices in Albany are 3.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 30.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has risen 6.9 cents in the last week and stands at $3.99 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Albany was priced at $2.99/g on Sunday, while the most expensive was $3.69/g, a difference of 70.0 cents per gallon. The lowest price in the state Sunday was $2.75/g while the highest was $4.49/g, a difference of $1.74/g.
The national average price of gasoline has risen 5.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.17/g on Monday. The national average is up 9.6 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 20.0 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
