TROY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — A guilty plea was entered for a fatal July 2023 shooting . The Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office said Jahteek Sanchez pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the first degree.

Prosecutors said he shot 39-year-old Alexander Crawford at a Family Dollar on Second Avenue in North Troy . He faces up to 25 years in prison when he’s sentenced in July.
