AMSTERDAM, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — G’s Famous Lemon Cookies, located at 44 Main Street in Amsterdam, is closing its doors for good. Owner Regina Tambasco Flint announced that the eatery will be closing on June 30.

Flint said she’s closing up shop to join her husband in retirement. She started the business at-home making lemon cookies and then opened up the G’s Famous Lemon Cookies storefront on Main Street in 2019.
“We leased the space out to a very excited young man,” said Flint. “Please support him with his new business that he will share with you all when the time comes.”

The bakery and café sells cookies, muffins, scones, cheesecake, biscotti, soups, pizza, mac and cheese, and more. Flint said she will continue to do private orders after the shop closes if there is interest.
“I would like to thank all my customers for supporting me the last five years,” said Flint. “I greatly appreciate it and you will be missed.”
