Empawthy Rescue operators plead guilty to animal cruelty charges

ALBANY COUNTY, NY (WRGB) – The operators of Empawthy Rescue of Colonie have pled guilty to charges of animal cruelty, resulting from a January complaint. Andrew Tremblay, 41, and Jennifer Uhl, 40, both of Cohoes, pleaded guilty to Ten Counts of Agriculture and Markets Law Section 353 (Overdriving, Torturing, or Injuring Animals/Failure to Provide Sustenance), in Colonie Town Court Wednesday evening. That plea satisfies all 102 animal cruelty charges against the defendants.
