Taco Libre first opened in Troy’s River Street Market in June 2021. The restaurant told NEWS10 they moved out of the market as “First Columbia decided to go in a different direction with the space.” Taco Libre’s last day in River Street Market was August 23.
The Taco Libre Express menu features build-your-own burritos, bowls, and salads, tacos, and quesadillas with chorizo, carnitas, beef, chicken, or potato fillings. The restaurant wants to eventually add birria tacos and other protein offerings to the menu. You can view the menu on the Taco Libre website .

The restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Taco Libre owners also own Mex Cocina/La Catrina in Troy .
