Albany man arrested for allegedly selling fentanyl, cocaine

ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The Albany County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of an Albany man following a traffic stop. Ralph Duncan, 67, is facing multiple felony charges.

On Wednesday just after 10 a.m., deputies pulled a car over near Second Avenue and South Pearl Street for reportedly committing a traffic violation. During the stop, the driver, identified as Duncan, was allegedly found to be in possession of packaged fentanyl and cocaine.

Duncan was then taken into custody. He now faces the following charges:

  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

Rensselaer man sentenced for rape, murder of three-year-old

Duncan was arraigned at the City of Albany Criminal Court before being remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility.
