Troopers: Clifton Park teen arrested for making threat of mass harm

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — According to the State Police, they were assisted by the Albany Federal Bureau of Investigation Joint Terrorism Task Force in arresting a Clifton Park teen on Sunday. The unnamed teen allegedly made a threat against Queensbury High School and faces multiple charges.

Troopers say they received information that a threat of mass harm was made on social media towards the high school on Saturday. State Police report that its investigation determined the 15-year-old from Clifton Park allegedly accessed the social media account of someone else and posted the threat.

According to law enforcement, the teen did not attend Queensbury High School. They were arrested at their home and then issued an appearance ticket to return to Saratoga County Family Court before being released to their guardian.
