Federal funding secured to replace Livingston Avenue Bridge

Albany, NY – U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer announced today that the Livingston Avenue Rail Bridge, a 125-year-old structure spanning the Hudson River between Albany and Rensselaer, will receive $215 million in federal funding for its replacement. This marks the largest award ever granted through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements (CRISI) program.
