“We start it after daylight savings because that’s when downtown starts to get dark so we thought why not bring light to troy,” said Olivia Clemente, executive director of the downtown Troy business improvement district.
That light includes everything from light up squares to lightning bolts. Plus, it has been bringing in people of all ages.
“The reason I wanted to come is to see these,” said Henry, a little boy from Albany. “The lights, there’s a light show going on.”
These unique designs were crafted from artists across the capital region and beyond. There are 10 light installations across Downtown Troy.
“One is hanging from somewhere like a huge spider web except its teal,” said Henry. “There’s also one over there that’s beautiful, actually.”
