A 19-year-old cross-country college athlete died on Tuesday in Massachusetts after a tragic skiing accident after falling on a difficult trail.
Alex Kemp was a Williams College freshman from New Jersey. He was skiing at the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Hancock, Massachusetts on Monday when the incident happened, the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office said in a press release .
At 2:39 p.m. on Monday officials received a 911 call reporting Kemp who had sustained injuries while skiing down the mountain. The accident took place on the left side of Cutter Trail as he descended the mountain.
