Accused Albany synagogue shooter expected to plead guilty

ALBANY – The man charged after he allegedly fired a shotgun outside a city synagogue in December 2023 is expected to plead guilty next month.

Mufid Fawaz Alkhader plans to waive an indictment and enter a plea change during a Feb. 4 hearing before U.S. District Court Judge Anne M. Nardacci, according to a filing with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
