What to expect at the 2025 Saratoga Chowderfest

The 26th annual Saratoga Chowderfest is set to take place on Saturday, Feb. 8, despite the expected snowy weather conditions. The event will kick off at 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in downtown Saratoga Springs. The event brings in tens of thousands of chowder fans from all over the country yearly and generates about $3 million.

Colonie ice cream stand under new ownership after 44 years

Kurver Kreme, located at 1349 Central Avenue in Colonie, is under new ownership. Previous owner Cheryl Apple made the announcement in a Facebook post on Friday.
