ALBANY — High winds moving into the area coupled with ice accumulations could lead to isolated power outages as winter weather continues to batter the region.
Precipitation that began as snow will continue as rain until around 6 p.m. Sunday, though some areas in the immediate Capital Region should see periods of dryness as some precipitation moves north. National Weather Service meteorologist Rosemary Webb said snow totals were still coming in Sunday morning, but parts of Ulster County had received between 4 and 6 inches of snow. Between 2 and 4 inches was recorded in greater Albany.
