Five Whitehall residents charged in narcotics bust

WHITEHALL, NY (WRGB) — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested five individuals Wednesday, as part of an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office that determined the subjects were involved in the sales of narcotics in the Village of Whitehall.

A Search Warrant was conducted at 4 Main Street, apartment 7 in the Village of Whitehall, where methamphetamine and crack cocaine were seized, along with other evidence relating to the distribution of narcotics.

Jason A. Brown, 41, was arrested on an Arrest Warrant issued by Washington County Court after a Grand Jury Indictment for two (2) counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree as a result of an Investigation the was conducted by the Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police. Brown was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, a class B Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree, a class D Felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree, a class D Felony, and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, a class A Misdemeanor…
