Cohoes Police arrest five following drug bust, apartment shutdown

COHOES, N.Y. (WRGB) — An early morning raid at 99 Johnston Ave. Friday led to the arrest of five individuals and the seizure of various drugs and paraphernalia, according to the Cohoes Police Department and the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit.

Authorities executed a search warrant at the apartment, reportedly resulting in the confiscation of 12.1 grams of cocaine, 6.9 grams of fentanyl, 17.2 grams of pressed Adderall, 3.1 grams of pressed oxycodone, $4,591 in cash, a scale, and packaging materials.

Five were arrested:

Keijon A. Williams, 28, of Cohoes:

  • Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree; Narcotic drug intent to sell (Class B Felony)
  • Criminal Possession of Narcotic Drug in the 4th degree (Class C Felony)
  • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree; package (Class A Misdemeanor)
  • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree; scales (Class A Misdemeanor)

Nicholas S. Sapienza Sr., 36, of Cohoes:

  • Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree; 10 grams stimulant (Class A Felony)
  • Criminal Possession of Narcotic Drug in the 4th degree (Class C Felony)
  • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree; scales (Class A Misdemeanor)
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree (Class A Misdemeanor)

Joshua D. Temple, 33, of Cohoes:

  • Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree; 10 grams stimulant (Class A Felony)
  • Criminal Possession of Narcotic Drug in the 4th degree (Class C Felony)
  • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree; scales (Class A Misdemeanor)
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree (Class A Misdemeanor)

Audrianna A. Jones, 34, of Cohoes:

  • Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree; 10 grams stimulant (Class A Felony)
  • Criminal Possession of Narcotic Drug in the 4th degree (Class C Felony)
  • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree; scales (Class A Misdemeanor)
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree (Class A Misdemeanor)

Heather L. Billingsley, 54, of Colonie:

  • Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree; 10 grams stimulant (Class A Felony)
  • Criminal Possession of Narcotic Drug in the 4th degree (Class C Felony)
  • Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree; scales (Class A Misdemeanor)
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree (Class A Misdemeanor)

Temple, currently on Albany County probation with an ankle monitoring device, was wanted by multiple police departments for various warrants, including robbery and failure to appear for DWI and petit larceny charges.

Jones is also wanted by the North Greenbush Police Department for a failure to appear warrant related to petit larceny. Sapienza was wanted by the Waterford Police Department for a failure to appear warrant for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
