Troy brewery closing, owners looking for new space

TROY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Rare Form Brewing Company is closing its doors at 90 Congress Street in Troy after more than 10 years. The brewery made the announcement in an Instagram post on March 15.

“After over 10 years of crafting beer, building community, and making incredible memories, our time at this space is coming to an end,” said Rare Form Brewing on Instagram. “While we’ve faced our share of obstacles, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built and beyond grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey.”

Rare Form’s last day of business on Congress Street will be April 13. However, the business said it is looking for a new space to open.

New ramen, poke eatery opens in Saratoga Springs

Before it hits last call, the brewery is having a few special events including karaoke night on March 20, live music with Grief Group, Pony in the Pancake, and Rabid Children on April 4, and some not-yet-announced events on April 12. Rare Form also released its new pale ale, Exit Strategy, and they’ll soon be bringing back a seasonal favorite.
