Albany police investigating after body found in wooded area

ALBANY — Police said they are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found in a wooded area around Second Avenue and Boenau Street.

Officers responded after receiving a call around 4 p.m. Wednesday for a body and located a deceased adult male.

There was no sign of police at the scene by 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Boenau Street terminates in a cul-de-sac abutted by brush, trees and tall grass…
