HALFMOON — A Clifton Park man is accused of stealing a Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office patrol car that was left running outside of the department’s Halfmoon substation Friday night.
The 35-year-old man is charged with second-degree grand larceny, a felony, in connection with the alleged theft, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Police say the man allegedly stole the marked car around 11 p.m. after a sheriff’s deputy left the car running outside the station. The deputy was inside the facility processing an unrelated person who was under arrest, according to the department.
