The pantry will be open to all residents in need, not just members of the Guyanese community. According to organizers, food insecurity is a growing concern in Schenectady, and the pantry will ensure no one in the community goes hungry.

“This Food Pantry will provide free, nutritious food to individuals and families in need, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry,” organizers said. “With the support of generous donors, volunteers, and partners, the pantry aims to serve hundreds of families each month.”
