Police probe link between State Street incident and stabbing in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY, NY (WRGB) — Schenectady Police are investigating after receiving a call for an unknown trouble on State Street — followed shortly by a stabbing victim turning up at a local hospital.

Just before 3 a.m. on March 29, Schenectady Police Officers were dispatched to the area of State Street and Fehr Ave for an unknown trouble. Not long afterward, officers were made aware that a stabbing victim had been located at Ellis Hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. According to police, as of this time, the two incidents appear to be related.

The name of the victim will not be released at this time…
