Schenectady Police responded to Eastern Parkway and McClellan Street for a report that an injured dog had been found on Sunday afternoon, March 30.
Officers found a female dog that was underweight and suffering from severe wounds to her face and ears, police said. One of the dog’s ears appeared to have been intentionally cut off and her teeth were fractured.
The animal was taken to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, where she is undergoing care. Employees have since named her “Lavender.”…
