ALTAMONT, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Grab your chainmail, lances, and mutton! The New York Capital District Renaissance Festival will be returning to Altamont’s Indian Ladder Farms in June.

The annual festival features a myriad of shows and Renaissance-style craftsman, ranging from jousting, sword fights, and musical performances, to blacksmiths, jewelers and costume makers. The event also hosts a wide variety of food vendors and a pub crawl offering beer, cider and wine.
Celebrating its 11th anniversary in 2025, the festival will be held across two weekends this year. The festivities are slated to run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 14 and 15, and again on June 21 and 22.
