SCHENECTADY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Market 32 and Price Chopper have kicked off their annual Pet Food & Supply Drive. The campaign, which will benefit local animal welfare organizations, will run through the month of April.

Until April 30, Market 32 and Price Chopper shoppers are encouraged to place any high-demand pet food and supplies they want to donate in shopping carts labeled “Pet Food & Supply Drive.” These carts are placed at the front of each store.
At the end of the drive, the donations will be given to animal protection organizations local to each store. Items collected at Capital Region locations will go towards the Capital District Humane Association in Clifton Park.
“The services [animal shelters] provide are vital, and this collection will help ease the burden on these organizations by ensuring that they have essential supplies needed for each animal to receive the care they deserve,” said Pam Cerrone, director of community relations at Market 32 and Price Chopper. “Every donation will stay right in the areas where they are made.”…
