COLONIE, N.Y. (WRGB) — A 19-year-old was arrested Tuesday following a Colonie traffic stop when police say they recovered an illegal gun.
At 8:38 p.m. Tuesday, Colonie Police Officers pulled over a 2005 Volvo for traffic violations on Central Avenue, in the area of Delafield Drive. Police said during the traffic stop officers discovered a loaded .40 caliber Smith and Wesson handgun in the backpack of one of the occupants of the vehicle. The occupant, identified as Makayveon Moore, 19, of Albany, was found to not have a pistol permit making the firearm unlawfully possessed.
