Utica man found with more than 10 pounds of cannabis during traffic stop, troopers say

Rotterdam, N.Y. — A Utica man pulled over for a traffic stop last week was found with a large amount of cannabis in his vehicle, troopers said.

On April 6, state police stopped a vehicle on I-90 in Rotterdam for vehicle and traffic law violations, according to a news release from Trooper Stephanie O’Neil, a spokeswoman for the State Police.

Inside the vehicle was more than 10 pounds of cannabis, plus more than 4 pounds of concentrated cannabis products, O’Neil said. About $20,000 cash was also in the vehicle…
