Six Mile Waterworks stocked with over 2,000 fish

ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the city of Albany teamed up on Thursday to give the community an opportunity to enjoy the nicer weather.

People of all ages came out to Six Mile Waterworks on Fuller Road to help stock the water with over 2,000 catchable-size rainbow trout. Experienced instructors also taught kids how to fish.

The event was part of the DEC’s effort to help anglers enjoy local fishing spots.
